Marisa Cardenas is a advertising and lifestyle photographer. Born and raised in a small California beach town, a curiosity for other cultures and exploring the world led her to her first international trip at 19 with her Mom's film camera. For Cardenas, the camera is a means of connection to the outdoors, slowing down in the moment, and sharing stories. Being in the outdoors and connecting with people is the main source of joy that are demonstrated in her work.
Previously, she has worked in the design agency spaces for 10 years. Honing her eye for creative direction that are authentic to each clients mission. Past clients include, Pottery Barn, Nordstrom, Z-Gallerie, United Way of Los Angeles, The Country Music Hall of Fame, The AT&T Performing Arts Center, The Paramount Theater in Austin, TX, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and many more.
